Madonna is in trouble again after she was caught putting up fake signs to save herself a parking spot on the busy streets of New York.
The 57-year-old pop singer annoyed her wealthy neighbors in the Upper East Side after she put up metal posts in the sidewalk shrubbery, TMZ reports
The signs in front of the $40 million townhouse states in bold “no parking” and declares the sidewalk is “Tenant Parking Only. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed away at vehicle owner’s expense.”
A nosy neighbor confronted one of Madonna’s security guards about it, but he apparently said they “know the right people.”
One phone call to New York’s Department of Transportation later and the “Like a Virgin” singer was ordered to remove the illegal signs immediately.
The agency confirmed that the diva has no right to deter desperate Big Apple drivers from squeezing in her spot when she takes one of the SUVs to go buy bread and milk.
