  • Joe Jonas (July 2008-October 2008)— “Last Kiss” and “Forever and Always” were Taylor’s initial reactions after the infamous breakup. Although “Holy Ground,” also inspired on Joe, is a lot more positive. (Photo: WENN)

  • Lucas Till (March 2009-April 2009)—Till won T’s heart on the set of the hit music video “You Belong With Me”. But things didn’t work out because “he just really liked her as a friend.” (Photo: WENN)

  • Taylor Lautner (August 2009-December 2009)—On the single “Back To December”, Swift apologizes to an ex with “tan skin” and “sweet smile” for a rough night. That might as well be the night T broke with T. (Photo: WENN)

  • John Mayer (December 2009-February 2010)—After her breakup with fellow musician John Mayer, Taylor released the song “Dear John”. Taylor clearly wasn’t traying to be subtle! (Photo: WENN)

  • Cory Monteith (April 2010-May 2010)—Swift explained to Yahoo that “Mine” was about a guy that she just barely knew, but that she did saw the entire relationship flash before her eyes at a certain moment. We’d like to believe that guy was Cory. (Photo: WENN)

  • Jake Gyllenhaal (October 2010-January 2011)—Tay got all of her emotions about her relationship with Jake out in “All Too Well”. Just take a look at the lyrics and you’ll see it’s safe to say that song is probably about him. (Photo: WENN)

  • Conor Kennedy (July 2012-October 2012)—Taylor said “Begin Again” was about “when you finally dust yourself off” after a bad relationship. Coincidentally (I don’t think so!), Tay was dating Conor at the time. (Photo: WENN)

  • Harry Styles (December 2012-January 2013)—Taylor and Harry dated for only a month, but she got an entire album (Red) out of it! “I Knew You Were Trouble” started a long list of songs inspired by the former One Directioner. (Photo: WENN)

  • Calvis Harris (March 2015-June 2016)— In Swift’s single music video for “Look What You Made Me Do”, she lends an eery nod to Harris by crawling out of a graveyard next to a headstone reading “Nils Sjoberg,” which was the psydenom the singer used to conceal her identity on Harris track, “This is What You Came For”. • Tom Hiddleston (June 2016-September 2016)—Also in the music video for “Look What You Made Me Do,” Taylor has male dancers wearing the infamous “I heart TS” written in front, a direct reference to Hiddleston’s tank. (Photo: WENN)

  • Joe Alwyn (October 2016- Present)—In the music video for “… Ready for It?” Tay dropped hidden references to the actor, one of them being his name written in Chinese characters on one of the walls in the video. (Photo: WENN)

Taylor Swift is turning 27 today, and she’ll most likely celebrate in a private gathering with her family, close friends, and of course, her secret-but-not-so-secret boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

You didn’t think Tay was going to spend her special day all alone, right? In fact, according to our calculations, the singer hasn’t been single for not one of her birthdays in almost 10 years. Whether it was Joe Jonas, John Mayer, or Calvin Harris, Taylor the old Taylor has always had a man singing “Happy Birthday” to her ear.

Sure, Alwyn’s strength isn’t necessarily singing (that we know of!), but T’s new relationship seems to be something different, something special. Or at least that’s what she’s let us think with all those Joe references on her new album “Reputation.”

Still, it wouldn’t be the first time she’s done it. Take a look at Taylor Swift’s dating history in our photo gallery above; all of her relationships with their corresponding song, of course!
