Echo, Marvel’s first adult series, gets new trailer

Date:

Marvel has released a new trailer for Echo, its next series on Disney+, highlighting especially the action scenes. With a serious narration, the preview highlights that the attraction differs from other superhero productions for streaming, describing it as “Marvel’s most intense series”.

++ Jason Momoa talks about his diet to prepare for “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”

Echo follows the story of Maya Lopez, a character previously introduced in ‘Hawkeye’. She is a deaf superhero of Native American origin, gifted with the ability to imitate any opponent’s fighting style.

++ Doja Cat denies rumors that she hates her fans

The plot will also bring back characters from the ‘Daredevil’ series to the Marvel universe, with Charlie Cox reprising his role as the hero and his secret identity, Matt Murdock, while Vincent D’Onofrio returns as Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin.

The premiere is scheduled for January 9th at 11pm, with all five episodes being released simultaneously. In the comics, Echo was the first character to take on the title of Ronin, even before Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), who adopted the alter ego in Avengers: Endgame (2019) after losing his family in the snap of Thanos (Josh Brolin). She is deaf and the franchise’s first Native American heroine. This is Charlie Cox’s debut role. In addition to Alaqua Cox, also deaf and Native American, and Vincent D’Onofrio, the cast of ‘Echo’ includes Zahn McClarnon (Doctor Sleep), Tantoo.
