As a result, according to reports from internet users, when playing a film or series on the platform, a connection error message appeared.
Thus, during the day, Netflix announced the implementation of new tools in the connection speed index. In the press release, streaming says that:
“We’ve included a new feature in the Netflix Connection Speed Index, which measures Netflix’s primetime performance on select internet access providers around the world”.

“Now, you’ll notice a line in the histogram for each country or region, indicating the highest speed achieved by a provider globally each month.”
With this, a Netflix representative told the website ‘Variety’, “We’re very sorry, but we’re having unexpected technical issues with Netflix for some members. Our engineers are working to fix this as quickly as possible and will share updates.”
Finally, according to reports by around 8 p.m. ET, the issue appeared to have been resolved.
