“When I first watched her audition, it was incredible, but I asked myself, ‘Is she really pretty?'” Arquette confessed. “And then, I realized, ‘Wait a minute. Wait a minute. I have my own self-conscious biases. Why am I trying to say, ‘No, you can only be pretty, that’s it’? That’s not right.”

Patricia Arquette praised the talented actress of Argentine descent, who also recently stood out in the series ‘Daisy Jones & the Six’, for proving that beauty and acting ability are not intrinsically linked.

“You gave an incredible performance. You have this gift and something in your heart that you long to share,” said the now director during the panel in Toronto. “I’m not going to restrict you in any way. And your performance is incredible. I’m so grateful to you, Cami, for everything you brought to the film.”
