Singer Adele recently shared that she faced a critical moment of alcoholism and revealed that she has not consumed alcohol for three months. During one of her most recent shows in Las Vegas, Adele addressed her relationship with alcoholic beverages in a frank conversation with the audience, as reported by the British newspaper Daily Mail.

During this dialogue, the artist mentioned that the height of her addiction occurred during her 20s and expressed that the current phase of sobriety seems somewhat monotonous to her, admitting that she misses alcohol.

“I stopped drinking about three and a half months ago. It’s a bit boring,” Adele commented. “For most of my 20s, I was borderline alcoholic, but I really miss it. I’ve also eliminated caffeine.”

In a relaxed way, Adele joked with a spectator who was holding a glass of drink during the show: “Enjoy your whiskey sour. I’m very, very jealous. “Last August, also during one of her shows in Las Vegas, Adele spoke about her difficulty in stopping her coffee addiction. She reported that she drank 25 cups of decaffeinated coffee to satisfy her addiction. She said: “I had a dull headache for two days because I stopped [coffee]. My head was throbbing. It was like there was a drill inside my head. Was heavy. It’s been harder than quitting smoking, harder than quitting alcohol.”
