British actor Daniel Radcliffe has addressed rumors about his fitness to play hero Wolverine in the near future. The former ‘Harry Potter’ star discussed his physical condition in an interview published on Vanity Fair magazine’s website.

Radcliffe, 34, recently turned heads when he showed off his abdominal muscles in a scene from the TV series ‘Miracle Workers’. Since then, rumors have grown, pointing to him as a possible replacement for Hugh Jackman in the role of Wolverine.

When asked if there was a specific motivation for his physical transformation, the actor responded with a laugh: “Yes. I decided to get more muscular because I’m obsessed, it’s something I wanted.”

He continued, “My parents are obsessed with physical activity, so that rubbed off on me.” Regarding rumors related to the role of Wolverine, Radcliffe refuted: “No. No Wolverine. I’m honored, but no.”
