Fans of actresses Gal Gadot and Ana de Armas were agitated over an alleged dispute between the two actresses, which was intensified by Israeli attacks on Palestine. Gal Gadot, protagonist of the ‘Wonder Woman’ franchise films, is Israeli and served in the army of her native country.

Recently, Ana de Armas unfollowed Gal Gadot on Instagram. Ana, who played Marilyn Monroe, in ‘Blonde’, stopped following Gadot after the Israeli actress promoted film screenings, in New York and Los Angeles, of a 47-minute video produced by her and her filmmaker husband, Guy Nattiv. The video contained scenes of Hamas attacks on Israel on October 7th.

In recent weeks, Gal Gadot has been active on her Instagram account in defending Israeli attacks on Palestine. In addition to Ana de Armas, actor Rami Malek, famous for ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, also unfollowed Gadot.

Some people on Twitter celebrated Armas’ decision to unfollow Gadot, describing her as “beautiful, brave and human.” Others stated that they sided with Armas on the issue of “barbarism or civilization.” However, there were also those who came to Gadot’s defense, arguing that she was just defending her country.

Armas was recently considered as a possible replacement for Gadot in the role of Wonder Woman in the cinema. Last month, in an interview with US magazine Wired, when asked about the subject, she praised her colleague’s work, stating: “Well, I think Gal Gadot is doing a great job, so, you know, I think she should continue as Wonder Woman.”
