“I was incredibly disappointed that they weren’t nominated. Greta did just about everything a director could do to deserve it,” America told Variety. The actress is vying for the award with Jodie Foster, Emily Blunt, Danielle Brooks and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. The film that leads nominations at the awards is Oppenheimer, which had a premiere close to that of Barbie.
