“Gossip Girl” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star Michelle Trachtenberg has responded to people who have been expressing their concern over her appearance.

On January 18, Michelle posted a selfie in her Instagram account with “Spy Kids” star Alexa PenaVega, and wrote “These kids….now adults getting our roots/hair done! Love this girl @vegaalexa”, in the caption.

But the comment section was flooded with messages of concerned fans, some of them saying she looked “sick”. The actress replied “Explain to me how I look sick”. “Did you lose a calendar and not realize I’m not 14. I’m 38. How sad for you to leave such a comment”, she added.
Michelle then shared another selfie later that day and wrote “I’ve received several comments recently about my appearance. I have never had plastic surgery I am happy and healthy. Check yourself haters”.
After other comments talking about her appearance, she returned and shared another selfie. “Fun fact. This is my face. Not malnutrition no problems. Why do you have you hate? Get a calendar”, she captioned the post.
The actress is best known for her work in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, as Dawn Summers, Buffy’s (Sarah Michelle Gellar) younger sister. She also portrayed Georgina Sparks in “Gossip Girl”.
