Dakota Johnson says she finds the term “nepo baby” “incredibly annoying”.
During an appearance on the “Today” show on Wednesday (7), Dakota said: “When that first started I found it to be incredibly annoying and boring. If you’re a journalist, write about something else. That’s just lame. So the opportunity to make fun of it, I jumped at”.
She referred to her second time hosting “Saturday Night Live!” last month, where she and John Higgins and Martin Herlihy — sons of SNL legends Steve Higgins and Tim Herlihy — make fun of the debate on nepotism in Hollywood.
“Nepo baby” is a term that refers to children of celebrities who have gained an advantage in the entertainment industry due to their famous parents. Dakota is the daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith.
