It’s most young girl’s dream these days to be a Victoria’s Secret model, and for Gigi Hadid, her dream came true.
Hadid, 20, announced on Thursday she had been cast in the upcoming ‘Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show’ this November. The lingerie retailer also shared the news with an Instagram video showing the moment their next bright star (or angel) nailed her cat walk audition.
Hadid overjoyed, shared her own announcement on her Instagram stating: “@victoriassecret & @ed_razek! One of the happiest moments of my life. ❤️ #vsfashionshow2015.”
While Gigi has appeared in ‘Victoria’s Secret Pink,’ the model failed to get cast in last year’s lingerie show. Since her disappointment in 2014, Hadid has made a name for herself by modeling for brands Balmain and appearing at Paris Fashion Week.
Wearing only a black bra and matching panties, she strutted her fit frame for VS casting directors and photographers when she heard these words…“What are you doing on November 9th and 10th?, Hadid… “I don’t know.” ‘VS: “Why don’t you come join us!”
Hadid fell to the floor saying, “Really?” then walked to obviously thank the talent scouts.
Victoria’s Secret captioned the short clip: “We love surprises…and we just gave a BIG one to @GigiHadid at today’s #VSFashionShow castings See you on the runway, Gigi.”
