A few years ago, Matthew Lewis (a.k.a. Neville Longbottom) stunned the world when he effortlessly went from geek to chic, a transformation many thought was worthy of the best book of witchcraft and wizardry.
Cut to 2018, and the British heartthrob is once again blowing our Potterheads away with the news that he is married to some muggle that isn’t neither Luna Lovegood nor Hanna Abbott (nor us, for that matter).
On Monday, Matthew Lewis announced that he married American girlfriend Angela Jones. And though we’re happy to know that, unlike Neville, Matthew did have a happy ending after all, the Potterhead in us is crying tears of joy, nostalgia, and, honestly, one or two of utter jealousy.
As expected, it didn’t take long before all the Harry Potter puns and references floated our Twitter feeds. Click through our photo gallery above to see some of the best reactions to Neville, er, sorry, Matthew Lewi’s wedding.
