Pizza is majestic, Meryl Streep is the queen of everything, and kissing is awkward. That’s just how things are. Sure, locking lips with your special someone—or a total stranger, if that’s what gets you going—can be exciting, romantic, and, very, very sexy. But reality is, most of the times, kissing is cringe-worthy and downright unsanitary.
There are so many things that can go wrong with a kiss: teeth grinding, slurping, both too much and too little eye contact, and the underlying sense that one party isn’t really vibing with the other’s intentions, like, at all.
