Decades before there was Bieber Fever, there was Beatlemania and the band that basically invented screaming fans will now finally be available on the streaming devices of the younger generation.

The Beatles (or rather the network of interests controlling the rights to their music) have finally given in to new technology – making their illustrious discography available for online streaming on all major services on Christmas Eve.

Ringo Starr, one of only two surviving members with Paul McCartney, announced the decision on Twitter: “Are you ready Christmas Eve 12:01 AM we are coming to you from out of the blue peace and love peace love [sic],” the loveable drummer wrote along with numerous emojis.

The Beatles have long been infamous for a slow uptake of new technology. Their monstrously influential and popular back catalog was only made available for purchase online on Apple’s iTunes store five years ago, The Verge reports.

Now, since Christmas Eve 00:01 local time in each region of the world, we can all come together in festive spirit to renew our faith in Beatlemania.
