Beyoncé is set to join Coldplay on stage at the Super Bowl halftime show this year.
The 34-year-old singer will return to Super Bowl 50 to join the British band on stage for their performance of the single “Hymn for the Weekend,” which features her on vocals. The diva also headlined the 2013 halftime show in New Orleans where she performed hits such as “Crazy in Love” and “Single Ladies” before reuniting with members of her former group Destiny’s Child.
Beyoncé is yet to publicly announce or comment on her part of the show, but Coldplay has been featured in numerous promos expressing their excitement. “Are you kidding me?” lead singer Chris Martin said in one such promo. “This is the biggest moment in our band’s life. We are going to give it everything we have.”
Katy Perry’s 2015 appearance will be a tough act to follow for Queen Bee and the boys after the “Roar” singer attracted 118 million viewers – the biggest halftime viewership ever. The Super Bowl is set to take place on 7 February at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
