Kanye West Announces Two New Albums Coming In June And Twitter Can’t Handle It

Earlier this week, Kanye West returned to Twitter to live tweet a book all about his philosophical muses—yeah, because, you know, in his own words, “no publisher or publicist will tell him what to put where or how many pages to write.” So Twitter it is.

But right in the middle of his philosophical tweeting spree—and though he clearly stated that his big comeback to the platform was “not a financial opportunity”—, Kanye took a break, put down his Greek toga, and announced that his coming out with not one, but two new albums this summer.

“My album is 7 songs,” he wrote Thursday afternoon, followed by a simple, “June 1st.” Minutes later, Yeezy tweeted again, “me and Cudi album June 8th,” along with “it’s called Kids See Ghost. That’s the name of our group.”

Well—that’s what I call a flurry of brief updates!

West is rumored to have been working on his follow-up to 2016’s Life of Pablo for months now, specially after spotted spending time in the studio with Kid Cudi, Nas, Travis Scott, and other all-star rappers and producers.

And though the end of his social media hiatus clearly hinted that something big was coming (besides his philosophy book, of course,), fans of the rapper turned fashion designer turned Aristoteles are still pretty darn shook.
