When we heard Ari was dropping out a single just minutes before Pete Davidson took the stage of SNL, we were ready for the most savage diss track of the year (second after Pusha-T’s, of course.) But Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next is nothing but a self-love anthem.

In the song, Grande addresses not only her recent split with Davidson and her past relationship with the late Mac Miller in a fresh and mature retrospective look at her love life. The singer also name checks other exes such as Big Sean and Ricky Álvarez.

“One taught me love/ one taught me patience/ and one taught me pain/ now, I’m so amazing,” Ariana sings of her exes.

She then goes on to talk about a new love in her life. “Plus, I met someone else/ We havin’ better discussions/ I know they say I mov eon too fast/ But this one gon’ last/ ‘Cause her name is Ari.”

Understandably, Arianators have been reacting non-stop on Twitter feeling empowered and saddened all at the same time. And we can totally relate. Click through our photo gallery above to see the best reactions to Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next.

And let us just say, God really is a woman—and her name is Ariana Grande.
