Did Beyoncé Just Drop New Music? Queen Carter Sends The Beyhive Into A Frenzy

Christmas came early for the Beyhive when not one, but two albums unexpectedly dropped on Apple Music and Spotify under the name of Queen Carter. But it all turned out to be fake.

A 10-track project, named Have Your Way, was available on both streaming platforms in the early hours of Friday. And it didn’t stop there—a second album, also with 10 songs, appeared with the title Back Up, Rewind.

And rewind they did, indeed, as both LPs were nothing but old demos, which have been on YouTube for a long time. But the Beyhive was quick to catch Queen Carter’s bluff, and immediately took to Twitter to point out these were all tunes they’ve already heard before.

Plus—any true Beyoncé fan would know her new music will always be on Tidal first.
