It was announced today in Hollywood that Ryan Murphy and Fox have secured the cast for a new TV series ‘Scream Queens’ and it has lots of star power!

The new comedy-horror anthology series from Ryan Murphy will star True Blood alum Joe Manganiello, Glee‘s Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin and Disney darling Keke Palmer as series regulars. Pop star and former Nickelodeon alum Ariana Grande will guest-star in a recurring role.

Creator Ryan Murphy said… “We hope to create a whole new genre—comedy-horror—and the idea is for every season to revolve around two female leads. We’ve already begun a nationwide search for those women, as well as 10 other supporting roles, and we’re very grateful to Dana Walden and Gary Newman for their enthusiastic support.”

The new anthology series from Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan revolves around a college campus which is rocked by a series of murders. The first season will be 15 hour-long episodes.

Scream Queens is scheduled to begin production in the Spring, and will premiere in the Fall of 2015 on Fox.
