During Monday night’s broadcast of the post-Oscars on ‘E!’s Fashion Police’ loud-mouth Giuliana Rancic commented on actress and singer Zendaya’s choice to wear dreadlocks on the Oscars red carpet, saying, “I feel like she smells like patchouli oil. Or weed. Maybe weed?”  Which is just rude!

Zendaya took to Twitter on Monday night to respond to Rancic’s comments, calling her remarks “outrageously offensive. I Am Not My Hair!, before judging others. There is already harsh criticism of African American hair in society without the help of ignorant people who choose to judge others based on the curl of their hair.  My wearing my hair in locs on an Oscar red carpet was to showcase them in a positive light, to remind people of color that our hair is good enough.”

Agreed!
