Cindy Crawford will soon celebrate 50 yrs.

Unbelievably Cindy Crawford is approaching her 50th birthday next February.

One of the founding supermodels of the Eighties, Crawford has been a mainstay in the fashion industry ever since. To celebrate this milestone Crawford is set to release a book chronicling her life. It will be a collection of 150 images from her over-25-year career, as well as some never-before-seen photographs from her personal archive with stories about her professional and personal evolution.

Crawford’s book will cover everything from her childhood to loss of her younger brother, Jeff, who passed away from leukemia when he was just three years old to her views on the current youth-obsessed culture, marriage and motherhood.

Crawford is mother to Presley, 16 and Kaia, 14, [also budding models], and has been married to businessman Rande Gerber since 1998.

With her entrepreneurial accomplishments Crawford has a successful line of homeware products, Cindy Crawford Home, and her ongoing charitable projects and her health and beautyline ‘Meaningful Beauty’.

‘Becoming’ by Cindy Crawford will be published by Rizzoli, goes on sale on September 29th.
