Madonna sees “stand-up” in her future and doesn’t envision many more tours in major arenas for much longer…
The ‘Music’ queen 57, is currently on her ‘Rebel Heart’ world arena tour but has hinted it might be one of her final major tours as she likes the idea of putting on alternative shows as she gets older.
She told Rolling Stone magazine about touring 10 years from now, “I don’t even think that far in advance, but if I did travel around and perform and connect to audiences, I’m sure it would look and feel different than, say, the extravagant sort of musicals that I put on right now.”
“I quite like the idea of just sitting on a stool with a bottle of wine, a guitar and working my stand-up comedy into the whole scenario. I like talking to audiences, telling stories. I think I could make an interesting show, to tell you the truth. I quite like the idea of doing something simple.”
She released her 13th studio album ‘Rebel Heart’ in March explained she likes the thought of putting on more intimate concerts instead, in which she can incorporate her skill for making people laugh.
