Angelina Jolie has been knocked off her high horse after an animal welfare charity spotted her troop of kids riding elephants in Southeast Asia.
The outspoken Oscar-winner sent five of her six kids off with caretakers while she is hard at work shooting a film in the Cambodian city of Angkor Wat, the Mirror reports.
Elephant Asia Rescue and Survival Foundations did not approve of her choice of kiddie entertainment, though, saying: “Seriously Angelina Jolie? Are you that uneducated about the brutal methods of taming and exploitation of elephants in tourism in Asia?”
It has since been reported that Jolie had been suffering from a stomach bug at the time and that she is furious about the choice of entertainment minders picked out for children Maddox (14), who was adopted by from Cambodia, Pax (12), Zaharah (10), Shiloh (9) and Knox (7).
It’s not exactly the kind of mistake the actress and director would have wanted ahead of filming a project about an elephant protector in 2016.
