Scott Weiland’s cause of death has been determined as cardiac arrest after emergency dispatch calls were leaked to the media.
In the call, the dispatcher says the 48-year-old singer wasn’t breathing and suffered from cardiac arrest at the time he was found.
TMZ obtained the recording of the call between Minnesota’s Bloomington Police Department and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Department.
The former Stone Temple Pilots frontman was found dead on his band The Wildhearts’ tour bus. Since then, Weiland’s bandmate Tommy Black has been arrested for felony drug possession after small amounts of cocaine were found on the bus.
