This is how Adele got over Grammy drama

Adele’s performance at Monday night’s Grammy Awards was seen as the soulful singer’s comeback after a lengthy lay-off before the release of her latest album.

It wasn’t quite what the 27-year-old singer would have hoped for as her performance was plagued by technical difficulties.

Several commentators on Twitter said Adele looked distracted by her onstage monitors and the CBC television network confirmed they experienced technical difficulties beyond their control.

“The piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that’s what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune (sic),” Adele herself explained on Twitter.

The audience inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles gave Adele a standing ovation, but the hyper-professional Adele wasn’t satisfied with the performance.

The singer did, however, give herself a break and planned to treat herself to get over the disappointment.

“Because of it though… I’m treating myself to an in n out. So maybe it was worth it (sic),” she wrote.

We’re sure that while she was enjoying her In-N-Out Burger, she consoled herself with the fact that her album, 25, has already sold more than 15 million copies since its release in November.
