Kanye West is riding a tidal wave of controversy and in his latest rant he has asked Mark Zuckerberg for $1 billion.
The rapper took to Twitter to ask the Facebook founder for a massive investment in what he simply described as his “ideas.”
“Mark Zuckerberg invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas,” the rapper tweeted, “after realizing he is the greatest living artist and greatest artist of all time.”
Kanye released his latest album The Life of Pablo at a Yeezy release party in New York City last week, but claimed at the weekend to be in debt for $53 million.
“I don’t have enough resources to create what I really can…” the artist pleaded on Monday.
The 38-year-old rapper seems to have a financial escape plan in place, though, as he rallied his fans to support him in his pledge to the Facebook billionaire.
“World, please tweet, FaceTime, Facebook, instagram, whatever you gotta do to get Mark to support me…” he continued.
He also added some other direct and seemingly desperate pleas for Zuckerberg to see: “Mark, I am publicly asking you for help…” adding that “one of the coolest things you could ever do is to help me in my time of need.”
No word from the Facebook founder, who hasn’t tweeted since 2012, on the matter yet…
At least Kanye tried one of Zuckerberg’s tech rivals over at Google as a backup for funding: “hey Larry Page I’m down for your help too…”
