Usually at weddings the bride does not want the bridesmaids to draw the attention away from them, but this one is surely an exception.
That’s exactly what bride Britany Maack did when she chose music superstar and childhood friend Taylor Swift as her maid of honor.
Swift posted pictures of the picturesque wedding in her Pennsylvania hometown on Instagram, declaring that she is “the happiest maid of honour ever.”
“I met her when I was 10 days old, and him in kindergarten,” Swift wrote about the bride and her groom, Benjamin LaManna.
Swift was dressed in a beautiful pink chiffon wrap and the radiant bride looked stunning in a hand-embroidered silk taffeta ballgown designed by celebrity fashion designer Reem Acra.
The wedding took place at the Sacred Heart Chapel in Reading less than a week after Swift’s multi-platinum 1989 album won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
