On Saturday, February 20, Veuve Clicquot welcomed Miamians, celebrities, and champagne lovers alike to celebrate the international holiday of Carnaval. The beautiful afternoon in Miami’s Museum Park was transformed into a Carnaval oasis for the second-annual Veuve Clicquot Carnaval.
Guests including Ciara, Gabrielle Union, Chanel Iman, Olivia Culpo, Nina Agdal, Prince Royce, Diego Boneta, Daniela Botero, Hassan Pierre, Kelly Framel, Sazan Hendrix, Natalie Suarez, Mariano de Vaio and more brought the international spirit of Carnaval to the chic daytime celebration. With ongoing entertainment throughout the afternoon, including traditional samba dancers, batucada drummers, aerial performers, stilt walkers, fire dancers and more, guests also sipped glasses of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, Rosé, and the Champagne House’s newest offering, Veuve Clicquot Rich.
Kicking off one of the afternoon’s parades with a confetti cannon, Olivia Culpo led the samba dancers and batucada drummers throughout the beautiful park setting. Ciara mingled with friends Chanel Iman and Nina Agdal as they sipped glasses of Veuve Clicquot. Prince Royce playfully practiced his pronunciation of ‘Veuve’ rhyming with ‘love,’ while Gabrielle Union chatted with friends and enjoyed glasses of her favorite champagne in her hometown. Guests also nibbled on fresh ceviche, tuna tartar, fruit skewers and more while listening to DJ Gui Boratto’s impressive set amidst the beautiful ocean backdrop.
In General Admission, Carnaval-goers got traditional makeup and hair styles before using the photo booths to debut their new looks. They also played lawn games including ping pong, ring toss, life-size jenga, and more while soaking up the Carnaval entertainment and sipping Veuve Clicquot champagnes. They also enjoyed gourmet fare from Miami’s best food trucks.
