Justin Bieber fans paid to meet cut-out of him!

Beliebers who paid £1 000 (US$1 400) to meet him are seriously ticked off after all they got was a cardboard cut-out of him.

The 22-year-old singer cancelled all of his meet and greet experiences on his Purpose World Tour after admitting posing for selfies with young fans leaves him “drained and unhappy.”

Instead of getting to snap a picture with their idol, fans at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas were left taking depressing shots of a real-size cardboard cut-out of Bieber, Daily Mirror reports.

The singer made the announcement via Instagram, writing: “I enjoy meeting such incredible people but I end up feeling so drained and filled with so much of other people’s spiritual energy that I end up so drained and unhappy. [sic]”

“Can’t tell you how sorry I am, and wish it wasn’t so hard on me,” Bieber continued. “And I want to stay in the healthy mindset I’m in to give you the best show you have ever seen.”

According to TMZ, fans were offered a full refund on their VIP tickets, but if they opted to take it they would also lose their spot in the best seats in the house.
