Khloé Kardashian has said she never wanted to divorce her troubled husband Lamar Odom.
The reality TV star said she was rushing her divorce, but put it on hold when Odom collapsed at a Las Vegas brother in October last year.
Now, the 31-year-old says she feels it is her “role” in life to help Odom with his recovery, US Weekly reports.
“That’s what I feel like is my role. I never wanted a divorce to begin with. I never wanted him to spiral out of control.”
The Keeping up with the Kardashians star said she halted divorce proceedings to make “life and death” decisions on behalf of her husband as he was incapable of making them after he was hospitalized.
Speaking in a segment on her new talk show, Kocktails with Khloé, she said: “I want Lamar to be happy with Lamar again, I want Lamar to fall in love with his life one more time.”
It was previously reported that Khloé denied any possibility of a romantic reconciliation with Lamar.
