Caitlyn Jenner is set to appear on the hit TV show Transparent in its upcoming third season.
Showrunner Jill Soloway revealed at the GLAAD Media Awards that having Jenner on the show will be a “dream come true,” The Verge reports.
“A lot of the transwomen who work on our show are also in her show, I Am Cait,” She said. “Lots of crossover. Lots of friends.”
“We are all part of the same community,” Soloway said.
The show has been critically acclaimed in its first two seasons and stars Jeffrey Tambor as Maura Pfefferman. During the course of the first seasons, the show follows the Pfefferman family’s struggle in dealing with prejudice and gender issues as Maura comes out.
The show won five Emmy Awards last year, including Best Actor for Tambor while Soloway grabbed the directing accolade.
