Janet Jackson has promised fans to resume her world tour next year after abruptly pausing it to start a family.
The 49-year-old diva started a global tour in support of her Unbreakable album last year, but has appeared on stage only once since November.
Now Jackson promised fans to return to her busy touring schedule in 2017, because she and her husband, Qatari business mogul Wissam Al Mana, are currently “planning our family.”
“Janet Jackson’s Unbreakable World Tour Postponed Until 2017 Tickets Will Be Honored, Refunds Available (sic),” the star wrote on Twitter.
The popstar offered no further explanations of her family plans, but it was recently reported that fans believed she was pregnant after she announced a “sudden change” in her life in a video posted on Twitter.
Jackson turns 50 next month and natural pregnancies at her age are extremely rare.
