Snoop Dogg park shooting sends people running

Most shootings are tragic and unexpected, but for this one they surely could have sent out a flyer notifying residents.

Instead, parkgoers had to run for cover at Tarzana Park in San Fernando Valley as gunshots rang out in a re-enactment for a new docuseries, TMZ reports.

The Rich and Acquitted episode in question focuses on the murder of gang member Philip Woldemariam. Rapper Snoop Dogg was a member of a rival gang and was charged with his murder in 1993.

Snoop was acquitted in 1996 and he has remained young, wild and free ever since.

Apparently, cops in the area were aware of the blanks that were going to be fired, but they failed to notify bystanders who were left to drop it like it’s hot in the middle of their serene picnics.

The series will start airing on Reelz in September and will also feature the acquittal stories of Robert Blake, Oscar Pistorius, O.J. Simpson, R. Kelly, and Michael Jackson.
