The family of the man who shot and killed Christina Grimmie left a note expressing their “deepest sorrow” on the door of the grieving family.
On Saturday, Florida police identified Kevin James Loibl as the shooter who killed The Voice star after a performance in Orlando, Mirror reports.
His family has since posted a note on the door of Grimmie’s family home in St. Petersburg, Florida.
“Deepest sorrow for lost to the Family, Friends and Fans of the very talented, loving Christina Grimmie. No other commets (sic),” the note reads.
We reported earlier that Loibl walked up to Grimmie as she was signing autographs after a show early on Saturday morning.
Concertgoer Destiny Rivera told PEOPLE magazine Grimmie had “her arms open wide ready to greet him, as she would any of her other friends with such enthusiasm” before Loibl fatally shot her in the head.
It has now been confirmed that he traveled to the venue with the sole purpose of murdering the 22-year-old star.
He was carrying two handguns and a hunting knife.
