A shocking video showing Chris Brown stomping on a man’s head has surfaced, but the star is washing his hands of any responsibility.
Brown has taken to Instagram to deny claims he assaulted a man while hosting a night at the Gotha nightclub in Cannes on 18 May, Daily Mail reports.
“I was hosting. No fans were hurt by Chris Brown, no fans were beat up by Chris Brown,” the 27-year-old said.
“I met the owner, shook his hand. We were partying and everything else,” he continued. “His staff though, security, I don’t think he probably knew who I was. I don’t care but he assaulted me.”
“We handled the situation accordingly and moved on.”
Malek Mokrani disagrees and a video TMZ obtained clearly shows he was stomped on the head while other partygoers pinned him to the ground.
Reports say Mokrani needed to visit the hospital with head and neck pains after the incident and he is intent on filing a police report.
Brown also allegedly got into another fight with clubs security earlier when he found out that his table was not located in the upstairs VIP area.
