Rihanna was in Nice, France when a terrorist in a truck ploughed through a massive crowd of pedestrians on Bastille Day.
The horrific act of violence killed 80 people on France’s National Day, TMZ reports.
The attacker reportedly sped up a large truck and ran over a number of people and also fired on the crowd before security could stop him.
Rihanna is set to perform in the city on Friday night, but it remains to be seen if the show will go on.
Sources close to the singer say her team are rushing to get her out of the city as soon as possible.
Thursday’s tragic attacks took place a mere eight months after the horrific Paris terror attacks that included a deadly shooting at the Bataclan theatre where 89 people were killed at a Queens of the Stone Age performance.
Our hearts go out the families affected by the devastating attack.
