Miley Cyrus’ homeless date selling her VMA

Miley Cyrus’ homeless date to the 2014 MTV VMAs is putting the award statue the pop star gifted him up for sale on eBay.

Jesse Helt accompanied Miley to the star-studded event as the star made an attempt to highlight the plight of homeless people across the US.

Miley took Helt on stage with her to collect the prize for Video of the Year for “Wrecking Ball” and gifted him the Moon Man statue as a memento.

“I am accepting this award on behalf of the 1.6 million runaways and homeless youth in the United States who are starving, lost and scared for their lives right now,” he told the millions of viewers.

He has now decided that he needs the cash more than the fading memory and has started the bidding at $10 000.

“In mint condition. Very rare one of a kind,” his description of the item read on the popular auction site. “No fingerprints,” he crucially added.

Eager collectors can also click the “Buy It Now” button if they are willing to fork out $15 000 for it.

For your money, you get a kitschy statue of an astronaut engraved with the names Miley Cyrus and Jesse Helt. Sounds like a solid deal to us…

And in future news, Beyoncé puts a stop to world hunger by selling her mountain of VMA statues!
