Justin Bieber has threateningly asked fans to stop the hate against his new girlfriend, but that obviously did not work on his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
The 22-year-old “Sorry” hitmaker recently posted a string of pictures of his new girl Sofia Richie on Instagram and Beliebers have been demanding answers, E! Online reports.
In the hope of getting his persistent fans to back off a bit, Justin wrote on Instagram: “If you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.”
Fans were then quick to post comments Selena Gomez reportedly authored.
“If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only,” she reportedly wrote. “Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you.”
Shortly thereafter, Selena posted a picture on Instagram with the caption declaring that her fans are “My whole life. You matter most.”
“Thank you letting me do what I love every day,” she added.
Not long after that post, fans again screengrabbed comments Bieber reportedly posted.
“It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love,” he reportedly wrote.
“I’m not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and each other. And yes I love my beliebers.”
So, how long will it be until Justin and Selena get back together?
