Beyoncé on Sunday celebrated her birthday a long list of celebrity friends congratulated her on her recent success.
The star, who last week became the most awarded artist of the MTV Video Music Awards, turned 35 on Sunday and the messages came streaming in.
Kim Kardashian led the tributes to Queen Bee by singing “Happy Birthday” and posting the video to her Snapchat account.
Beyoncé and husband Jay Z celebrated her birthday at the Made in America festival and several artists paid tribute.
“Auntie it’s your birthday,” Chance the Rapper said. “Happy birthday ‘Yonce.”
Other acts including Coldplay, Kelly Rowland, La La Anthony and Carmelo Anthony also wished the diva, who was seated in the front row, happy birthday.
“We want to say happy birthday to Mrs. Carter who is out here somewhere,” Coldplay frontman Chris Martin told the crowd. His band previously collaborated with Beyoncé on the track “Hymn for the Weekend.”
On Twitter, Mariah Carey wrote Bey a special message: “Happy birthday to the beautiful Queen Bey! Lots of love and respect always, Mariah (sic)”
Laverne Cox also declared Sunday “Happy Bey Day” and said is addicted to her song “Freedom.”
She wrote: “#HappyBeyDay Happy Birthday @Beyonce I have been singing #Freedom all week. It just feels like we need this song right now. (sic)”
Nicki Minaj also congratulated the star, writing: “And happy BEY day to her excellence (sic)”
