Egor Tarabasov has hit back at Lindsay Lohan’s claim that he is a slacker and said he was paying her bills!
The 30-year-old actress recently appeared on Russian TV and said that the “flat broke” Egor was living off her earnings, but that claim has now been refuted, TMZ reports.
A source close to the 23-year-old property tycoon said that he had to cover “thousands of dollars of bills Lindsay racked up during the filming her latest movie.”
According to the source, Egor told his friends that he was the “breadwinner” over the course of their volatile 11-month romance that ended after they were filmed grappling over his mobile phone on a beach in Mykonos, Greece.
“Lindsay had access to Egor’s credit card, and she used it often to snatch up gifts for herself and her entire family,” the insider added.
While appearing on the Russian TV, Lindsay also claimed to have paid for her own engagement ring, but the source now said that it was Egor who paid for the $285 000 emerald sparkler, British newspaper Daily Mail reports.
“Egor has a steady income through a bunch of investments, and even serves as director for a couple European firms…so he’s got cash to blow,” the source said.
Lindsay went as far as branding Egor a “lazy layabout” and said it was mostly his wealthy father who paid for his lavish lifestyle.
“His father paid for many things, but mainly I was paying,” she said.
“But it was mistake. I should have said to him, ‘Do something, I can’t do everything alone.’ I’m a 30-year-old woman and I was supporting a guy who didn’t work.”
