Adam Levine DID NOT hit Behati Prinsloo

False alarm! Adam Levine did not hit his wife Behati Prinsloo and their baby daughter as an anonymous tipster told police.

The Los Angeles Police Department paid the Maroon 5 frontman a visit and determined he did not lay a hand on his four-week-old daughter Dusty Rose and her mother, TMZ reports.

The publication reports that the police found that the shocking accusations against the singer were baseless and completely unfounded.

Adam (37) and Behati (27) wed in 2014 and welcomed their first child last month and the proud new father reportedly showed his gratitude over police’s finding that the claims were false.

New mom Prinsloo recently posted a snap on Instagram before she headed out to meet some friends while taking a break from her duties as a new mom.

“After 3 weeks of breastfeeding every 3 hours, no sleep and nursing my nipples back to life lol (sic), I left the house to see my girls for dinner,” she wrote. “Life is so beautiful, can’t believe how lucky I got.”

She left baby Dusty under the loving care of her dad, who himself expressed the joys of fatherhood with On Air With Ryan Seacrest last Thursday: “I don’t know anything, but it’s kind of part of the beauty of it, honestly.”

“There are a lot of instincts, a lot of things that kind of kick in and switch on,” he continued. “It’s a beautiful experience.”

We are so happy that claim turned out to be false!
