Angelina Jolie has vowed to stick by Brad Pitt if police insist on prosecuting him for allegedly abusing their 15-year-old son Maddox.
The Maleficent actress filed for divorce from Pitt last week, but she says he should not be prosecuted for getting physical with the teen on board of their private jet, British newspaper Daily Mail reports.
A source close to the 41-year-old beauty told TMZ that she will go “radio silent” if police question her about the allegedly drunken outburst of the Fight Club star.
It was previously reported that Brad would not face any legal troubles over the incident, because there was “no way to conclusively prove Brad intentionally inflicted harm on his son.”
That came after Angelina reportedly told social workers that Brad had struck Maddox in the face in a heated argument that started well before they boarded a flight in France.
On Friday, Pitt and Jolie reached a temporary custody agreement with the help of the Los Angeles County Department Of Children And Family Services that will last three weeks.
The agreement grants Angelina sole custody of Maddox (15), Pax (12), Zahara (11), Shiloh (10) and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne out of their shared home.
This agreement is set to change as they Brad and Angelina are preparing to face off in an epic custody battle.
