Kendall Jenner has appeared in court to testify against a stalker who followed her up her Hollywood Hills driveway.
The 20-year-old model told a courtroom on Wednesday how she panicked and desperately tried to phone her family as she watched Shavaughn McKenzie knocking on her car’s window repeatedly after dodging her closing security gate, TMZ reports.
“I’ve never been so scared in my life,” she told a Los Angeles jury.
McKenzie is a transient from Florida and he could face up to six months in jail if convicted of the trespassing or misdemeanor stalking charges
He already has several trespassing convictions unrelated to Jenner to his name, but his lawyer defended him by claiming he has a serious mental disorder.
The lawyer, Taylor Shramo, told jurors that McKenzie was unarmed and merely trying to talk to the model.
Kendall said that he had already accosted her twice before near a condo she owned in Westwood. She has also added security lights and cameras to her home since the last incident.
“It’s definitely put me even more on edge,” she said. “I definitely don’t feel safe in my own house anymore.”
