Things are reportedly looking up for Kim Kardashian after her horrific ordeal in Paris earlier this month.
The 36-year-old has been uncharacteristically quiet the last few weeks after she was bound, gagged and robbed at gunpoint in the French the capital.
Since then, Kim has taken off work, canceled numerous public appearances and vowed to stop bragging online as she reflected on how she put her life up for display.
Now sources close to the reality TV star say Kim is slowly re-emerging from her self-imposed social media hiding.
“Kim had a quiet birthday celebration with Kanye, their kids, her sisters and Kris,” a source close to Kim told People magazine. “It was Kim’s choice to not have a big celebration. She seemed very happy with her decision.”
We reported earlier that sources first claimed that it was Kim’s husband Kanye who called off the big celebration in light of his wife’s recent trauma.
“She is still figuring out her life. She still has no plans for any work appearances, but her outlook on life seems more positive,” the source continued. “She has calmed down a lot since the robbery.”
We hope this means that we will soon get to see more of Kim again! The world is just not the same without her.
