Kim Kardashian robbery was ‘inside job’

French police believe the armed robbery of Kim Kardashian in Paris on Monday morning was an inside job.

The 35-year-old reality TV star was bound, gagged and locked in the bathroom of her luxury residence while the robbers took jewels worth around $10 million, New York Post reports.

French police suspect that the five alleged robbers had some contact with her security and were tipped off about her procedures.

“They knew there was no security with her inside her apartment that night. All they had to do was go in, make contact with someone inside the hotel,” a police source told the publication. “They have issues with story of more than one worker at the hotel.

“They are also talking to bodyguards who worked with her earlier in the week.”

The two robbers Kim could describe rather well gained entry to her apartment by threatening the concierge of the building with a handgun, but police said there was something fishy about it.

“They did some things that were so unprofessional it seemed like a show,” the source said.

They are now looking into the theory that one of the men could be a bodyguard who once worked for Kim in Paris in the past.

Meanwhile, Kim’s close minder Pascal Duvier – who was keeping an eye on Kourtney Kardashian at the time of the incident – is probably launching his own personal investigation.

He has assured the robbers in the media that they “messed with the wrong one.”
