Just like great art, our favorite celebrities seem to be timeless…unless there’s an ultra-luxury Swiss watch brand involved.
That was the case when the stars came out in full force to attend the Audemars Piguet Art Commission Presents “Reconstruction of the Universe” By Sun Xun event in Miami.
Swiss timepiece brand Audemars Piguet hosted the event that featured the work of talented young Chinese artist Sun Xun and also functioned as the unofficial beginning of Art Basel.
The evening’s biggest stars were Katie Holmes and Serena Williams, who complimented each other in black and white.
Actress Katie, 37, wore a simple black dress with an elegant elevated neckline along with a pair of black heels while Serena, 35, opted for an all-white fringed miniskirt and blazer ensemble.
The tennis star’s brunette tresses cascaded down her blazer from a middle parting and she rounded out the look with a nude lipstick.
JETSS co-founder Camila Alves was also in attendance and her low-cut black and bling number struck another fine balance as she posed alongside Olivers Audemars, the great-grandson of Audemars Piguet co-founder Jules Louis Audemars.
The exhibit can be viewed between Thursday, December 1 and Saturday, December 3 in Oceanfront, Miami Beach.
Get there to take in the classic mix of craftsmanship and experimentation of Sun Xun’s work. The diverse display of everything from woodcarvings, traditional scroll paintings, ink drawings and sound to sweeping 3D animations is a true reflection of the refined Audemars Piguet brand.
