Hugh Jackman, Zendaya, and Zac Efron have resumed filming “The Greatest Showman” in the new year. The film is a drama/biography/musical about P.T. Barnum and the creation of the traveling Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey circus in 1881. Hugh Jackman is in the starring role of P.T. Barnum. However, at this time, the character of Zac Efron is “Philllip,” role unknown. Zendaya’s character is currently unnamed on IMDB.
Upon returning to the set, Hugh Jackman tweeted out a picture of the cupcakes for cast and crew to enjoy. The cupcakes had on top decorations in the style of the old Barnum & Bailey circus posters.
Hugh Jackman has performed in musicals before, including Les Miserables and Oklahoma! Zac Efron is famous for singing in his role Troy Bolton in the High School Musical series. Zendaya sang in 5 episodes of “Shake It UP!”
Other top billed cast members include Michelle Williams and Rebecca Ferguson. The film is set to be released December 25, 2017. However, casting is still underway.
