“Daddy Has Arrived” – Justin Bieber Avoids Trouble In Rio, Hailed As Hero By Brazilian Fans

Justin Bieber – and his new nickname in Brazil – are trending on social media as the pop performer landed in Rio today amidst a fan and paparazzi uproar.

The 23 year-old’s South American tour swing has unleashed a bevy of anticipation and anxiety, especially in Rio de Jeneiro where Bieber is still sought by authorities after spray-painting the wall of a prestigious Rio hotel in 2013.

But his arrival today was peaceful, and proceeded by fan-friendly sightseeing and a shirtless trip to the beach that had female fans howling. Several Instagram followers managed to gain an audience with the soul-pop icon and posted selfies while standing near the Beebs.

Brazilians have their own nickname for Justin, “Daddy,” including the hashtag #UhDaddyHasArrived which caused an uproar of delight on Twitter as the superstar musician landed at the airport.

It seems that Justin has avoided any trouble with local officials so far during his stay in Rio, though several images of the artist partying (without any spray-paint handy this time, thank goodness) are already circulating on the web. Justin Bieber is scheduled to perform in Rio de Janeiro tonight at Parca da Apoteose, followed by April 1st and 2nd dates in San Paulo.
