Did Janet Jackson’s Estranged Husband Wissam Al Mana Mistreat Her Mother?

With the news of Janet Jackson’s separation from husband Wissam Al Mana comes many theories about the real reasons for the pair’s “amicable” split. Some celebrity reporters immediately suggested the couple’s prenup, potentially worth as high as 8 figures on Jackson’s end.

But a darker potential truth has now emerged, with a source telling Daily Mail last night that Al Mana may have neglected, mistreated or simply ignored Jackson’s mother Katherine when the matriarch looked to her son-in-law for support.

The report claims that when Katherine came to England in February, she was hoping to escape what she says is bullying by her estranged nephew and former employee Trent Jackson. Authorities recently asked her to return to Los Angeles, but the trip overseas didn’t turn out as hoped.

Wissam, the source is quoted, showed a callous lack of interest in his mother-in-law’s plight.

“That’s when Janet made her decision that there was no turning back,” another source was quoted yesterday. “She was worried about her mother — and Wissam showed little to no concern.”
